Summer Art Project Activity Watermelon Art Writing Prompts Reading Comprehension
In this Summer Watermelon Art Project, students use oil pastels and paint to create a colorful summer watermelon artwork. The step-by-step visuals and clear instructions help you lead students through blending oil pastels, layering paint and experimenting with art techniques.
It is made for elementary classrooms and homeschool families and brings literacy into the art lesson with a summer-themed reading passage, reading comprehension questions and a writing prompt. The project is inspired by the style of the Ms Artastic YouTube Channel.
