I did not come to write this book as a theologian sitting behind a desk. I came to it as a woman who has walked through her own valley of loss. Years ago, I experienced miscarriage — the sudden, silent grief of a life that began and ended before it could be held. In that season, I discovered something that has become the foundation of everything I write and every prayer I pray: God does not leave. He does not look away. He does not abandon the broken.This book was born from a phone call. A woman reached out to me — a mother who had lost not one, not two, but three children. Three times she had loved fiercely. Three times she had buried what she loved. And in the rubble of that grief, she needed someone to tell her the truth — not platitudes, not religious formulas, but the raw, unshakeable Word of God spoken directly into the wound.
