REAL LATIN, NOT DECORATION

The plant names and apothecary words are genuine botanical binomials and the ordinary Latin abbreviations an old dispensary used - RAD. radix (root), FOL. folia (leaves), FLOR. flores (flowers), SEM. semina (seeds), CORT. cortex (bark), MISCE ET SIGNA (mix and label). The included README explains every term.

The Materia Medica plate shows six plants that genuinely appear in historical materia medica. They are printed as historical decoration only - this pack contains no recipe, dose or medical instruction of any kind, and several of those plants are seriously poisonous.

The handwriting-style marks on the paperwork and ledger sheets are decorative pen strokes, not words.

PRINTING

Print at 100 percent scale, not fit-to-page. Cream, ivory or manila paper suits these far better than bright white. 120-160 gsm holds up well to cutting and glue.

DELIVERY

Instant download - two ZIP files plus a README. No physical item is shipped.

LICENCE

Personal use and handmade physical items you sell yourself are both fine. You may not resell or share the digital files.

All artwork is original to Trumpify Prints - nothing is a scan or copy of any specific museum object, book or manuscript.
