I’ve had the idea for this wrap in my head for several months but I think that it was waiting for just the right moment to fully unfold for me. I reached out to Wendy from WNYarns through a Facebook group that we are both members of, when she posted that she was interested in collaborating with a designer. This was a first for me, and I am so happy that I plucked up the courage to push myself out of my comfy little comfort zone. She is such a wonderful person and she dyes such beautiful yarn! I honestly never thought that a dyer would take a chance on a new designer but she sent me two beautiful skeins of yarn to work with and this beauty finally unfolded itself! I’m so in love with the texture and how softly it drapes around my neck.

Pebbled Garden is a rectangular wrap that is knit on the bias. It utilizes a gorgeous textured stitch and a large eyelet lace section that makes it light and airy. This is an easy knit, but it is far from a quick knit. Textured stitches take time and this is the perfect project to slow down with and enjoy while the seasons change. It is ridiculously adaptable, unbelievably simple and can be made to work with just about any type or amount of yarn simply by changing the number of stitches that are cast on. You won’t have any yarn left over for your remnant stash either! The pattern includes a reference chart to help you to see where the stitches will line up and detailed instructions for making modifications.
