Miniatures de Mayence – Fünf Miniaturen für Blechbläseroktett

"Miniatures de Mayence" (französisch für "Miniaturen aus Mainz") ist ein fünfsätziges Originalwerk für 4 Trompeten und 4 Posaunen, komponiert 1987 von Ralf Ambros. Der Titel bezieht sich auf die Stadt Mainz am Rhein, in der der Komponist Musik studiert hat – jeder der fünf kurzen Sätze zeigt einen eigenen musikalischen Charakter, von markant-fanfarenhaft bis swingend und lyrisch.

"Miniatures de Mayence" (French for "Miniatures from Mainz") is a five-movement original work for 4 trumpets and 4 trombones, composed in 1987 by Ralf Ambros.
