Type the scores and this Google Sheet does the grading: weighted averages, letter grades, category averages, attendance and a one-page report for any student, for up to 5 classes.

HOW IT WORKS

1. After purchase, download the PDF from the link in your confirmation email.

2. Click the link. Google asks you to make a copy, which is saved to your own Google Drive.

3. Add your classes, students and assignments, then type each score. Everything else updates automatically.

GOOD TO KNOW

- Two versions included: one with sample data (made-up students) to explore and a blank one ready for your classes

- Weighted categories, for example Homework 20%, Quizzes 30%, Tests 40%, Participation 10%. Up to 6 categories

- Editable A to F grading scale, with room for + and − grades

- Missing scores are highlighted so nothing slips through

- Works in Google Sheets on computer, tablet and phone. A free Google account is needed. Not made for Excel or Numbers

- Cells that calculate show a gentle warning if you try to edit them, so formulas are not deleted by accident
