###This is a PDF sewing pattern and not a finished bag. Your pattern will be available for instant download as soon as the payment is processed.

+++This is a measure and cut pattern which means that there are NO TEMPLATES to print off and match up- Yay! You need a rotary cutter, ruler and mat and you can cut the pattern pieces straight from the fabric. This is easier than it sounds because the pieces are all simple squares and rectangles.

When you buy this pattern, you have my permission to make this bag to sell- no mass production allowed of course but a few to sell at craft fairs or online, that sort of thing is fine. All I ask is that you credit me as the designer. I wish you all the success in the world with sales!

All measurements are in INCHES.

I like taking my own lunch. I like to know what I am putting into my body and I don’t want to contribute to waste. Taking my own lunch is a small way that I can help the planet. We can both stay healthy and I like that. But I am a gear freak. I like to have a special bag to take my lunch in. Just for that purpose. Sad I know but there you are. Since we are confessing, I have to be honest and tell you that this is also the perfect bag for a small craft project on-the-go or some fantabulous storage. The sky is literally the limit. Reach for the sky!

Pattern Rating: intermediate sewist with some knowledge assumed.

Finished Size: 7 ½” wide x 7” tall x 8” deep

Suggested Fabrics: quilting weight cotton, denim, canvas, furnishing fabrics, linen, needle cord

Gather these supplies:
Fabric:
½ yd. canvas or similar weight fabric for the outer
¾ yd. cotton fabric for lining, the top and the drawstring
TIP: you will have some left over from your ½ yard outer but because you need slightly more than a FQ of most fabric widths, this is still the best and most economical way to buy. The offcuts are great stash builders.

Interfacing:
½ yd. style-vil foam interfacing (Vlieseline) or By Annie's Soft & Stable

Everything Else:
55” x 1” wide cotton webbing for the handles
Scraps of leather or vegan leather for the handle trims. You need ¾” x 24” twice so the scrap can be long and thin
Fabric glue
Coordinating threads for all fabrics and trims
Your usual sewing needs including scissors, markers, and extra feet for your sewing machine (zipper foot for example). You know, the usual stuff!
