The DfE has published new guidance to help schools strengthen their response to children affected by serious violence.

For Headteachers, DSLs and SENCos, this is an important opportunity to review safeguarding practice, contextual risk assessments, multi-agency working and the support provided to vulnerable children, including those with SEND, SEMH and complex trauma.
