Terrific Tulip Quilt Block
The pattern will show you the method I use for making the block, as well as the fabric amounts needed in a simplified colour scheme for a single block. It is written with step by step diagrams.
The pattern is for making a single block, using traditional piecing by sewing machine. No templates or specialty rulers are needed to make this block.

Fabric B (tulip center) - 5"x 5"
Fabric C (stem and leaves) - 10" x 10"
Fabric D (background) - 18" x 22"
