Mariposa Hat and Mittens

Yarn: 
Any brand of classic worsted yarn (approx. 190m/100g, 210yds/3.5oz)
1 skein from main color, 2/3 skein from secondary color
The original model made from Malabrigo Worsted yarn, Mariposa 125 and Indigo 088 colorway
you will be knitting in the round.
- when you knit the hat, you’ll begin at the cabled brim, then knit the body of the hat and finish at
the top.
- when you knit the mittens, you will begin at the cabled cuff, and finish at the fingers, where you
will sew the remaining sts together with tapestry needle. Thumb knitted separately, at the end.
- this instruction is written to use DPN, followed by circular needles (magic loop technique) -
choose what you like most.
- the right and the left half of the mittens are knitted the same way.
