Every Lake, Every Stone (a short story)

The story of the sword in the stone is famous. So is the story of the lady in the lake who rises from the water to offer a sword to the rightful king.

But what happens when there isn' t just one magic sword? What happens when everyone thinks he--and she--is meant to be king?

That's what this short story explores.

I'm trying an approach titled "Pay What You Want," because I trust my work. I know my stories are good. I also trust people to recognize that quality and pay what they think the story is worth. Also, I know how hard it is to judge new writers, so I want to make it easy for people to try my work.
