Bauble Socks

Originally published in Knitting magazine, these top down socks have a curvey cable design that

runs down the top of the foot and to the end of the heel flap at the back.

SIZE

To fit: UK shoe size 5-7 [8-10]

Actual measurement: Leg circumference 20

[22]cm (7¾ [8½] in)

TENSION

34 sts and 42 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch in the round using 2mm needles.

MATERIALS

1 [1] x 100g skein of 4-ply sock yarn (approx 400m per 100g)

Sample in Sweet Georgia Bulletproof Sock Phoenix Rising (50% superwash merino,15% silk, 15% mohair, 20% nylon)

1 set of 2mm double pointed needles or 2mm circular needle

Stitch markers

Cable needle

Blunt darning needles for grafting.
