Sherman Antitrust Act and Meta (English)
In 1766, Swedish citizens were given the legal right to express themselves freely in writing.
Now in 2026 and for many years, Facebook is taking away the legal right of Swedish citizens and any citizen to write freely.
Considering that Facebook has a completely dominant power in the market that previously large companies in the US have had and where these were split up into several new companies with completely new owners,
it is time for the EU and the UN to act against Facebook / Meta.
Countries' laws apply to Meta and they show that they ignore this and then the law must be changed in countries that want their laws to be used for the freedom of their citizens and as it was intended in Sweden in 1766. Meta must not throw us 260 years back in time and restrict our freedom. Do something brave!
