Build functional wall art: a 12 in round resin clock face — geode bands, ocean waves, or pressed botanicals under clear resin — run by a silent quartz movement that suits bedrooms and home offices. This 5-page PDF plan (Build Plan No. 18 in the Fox Feather Farms winter series) makes the 12 in (30 cm) diameter face, 1/2 in (13 mm) thick, cast in two layers (a design layer, then a clear flood) at about 700–800 ml of resin. Inside: a dimensioned layout diagram with the resin-volume math shown, a cut list (cast face, centre hole, movement recess, markers), a full materials list with per-line costs in Canadian dollars (about $48 typical), the tools required, finishes and cure times, and a 6-step build summary. The movement note matters and the plan says it plainly: match the shaft length to the 1/2 in face — order the long-shaft silent-sweep version — and bench-test the fitted clock for 24 hours before it leaves the shop; a clock that loses time is not finished. Gold markers at all twelve hours, with numerals at 3/6/9/12 optional, and names or a date can be set into the design layer. About 1.5–2 hours of active work plus a 48–72 hour cure. Personal use only — print and use as often as you like for yourself or as gifts; please don't redistribute the files or resell them.

What you need: A 12 in round silicone clock mold, casting/tabletop epoxy (700–800 ml), a long-shaft silent quartz movement with hands, gold numerals/markers, mica and inclusions, drill and router for the centre hole and back recess. A printer if you want the plan on paper.
