Christmas Cookie & Baking Planner 2026 – Google Sheets & Excel + Printables (Letter & A4)

Baking a lot of cookies this December? Plan the whole season in one place: what you're baking, how much butter and flour it takes, which day each dough gets made, and who gets a tin.

This is a ready-to-use spreadsheet for Google Sheets and Excel, plus 11 printable pages for anyone who'd rather plan with a pen.

What it does

• Cookie Lineup: one row per cookie, with batches, cookies per tray, oven temperature and minutes. Total cookies, dozens, trays and oven time work themselves out.
• Ingredients: list each recipe's ingredients for one batch. The planner multiplies by your batches and adds them up across every cookie.
• Pantry & Shopping: see the total you need of each ingredient, type what's already in the cupboard and get a "to buy" list with estimated cost.
• Schedule: builds itself from your dates. Every dough, bake and decorate step is sorted by day, with oven hours for each baking day.
• Cookie Exchange: date, place, who's coming and what they bring, plus how many dozen you need to bake for it.
• Gift Boxes: who gets cookies, how many, by when, and anything to avoid. Boxes that are due soon get highlighted.
• Budget: ingredients plus tins, boxes, ribbon and sprinkles, against your total.
• Dashboard: days to Christmas, cookies planned vs. what gifts and the exchange will use, what's left for home, items to buy and money left.
• Countdown: a week-by-week checklist from the end of November to Christmas Eve.

Good to know

• No macros and no add-ons. Works in Google Sheets (File Import), Excel for Windows, Mac and the web, and opens in LibreOffice/Numbers.
• Set for Christmas 2026, and you can type a different celebration date on the Dashboard.
• Oven time is an estimate. Raw cookie dough and raw flour can carry germs, so taste only after baking.
• Mailing cookies? Check your carrier's holiday shipping deadlines. The planner has a date for each box, but it doesn't list carrier deadlines.
• Instant digital download. Nothing is shipped.
