This unit consists of a series of language activities designed to build and extend vocabulary as students explore the world around them.  Using topics such as  Colors, Food, Lets Go Shopping, each section includes songs, games, crafts and worksheets to make the task of building vocabulary fun.
The unit was created for Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, but would also be a valuable resource for students learning English as a Second Language. (62 pages)
