My journey into EMDR therapy—and eventually into teaching it—comes from a deeply personal place. In my early 30s, I was a single mom raising four kids, feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and slipping into depression. I had tried therapy for years, searching for relief, but nothing truly helped—until God led me to an EMDR therapist who was also a Christian.
After just one session, I felt something shift. It was more than just a technique—it was healing. I could breathe again. I felt lighter. I began to find joy in places I thought were long gone. And while the work of therapy was important, I know without a doubt that it was God who brought the healing. My therapist was simply the tool He used.
That experience changed everything for me. It not only transformed my life but stirred a deep desire to help others find that same kind of freedom—and to help therapists learn how to offer it with skill, compassion, and faith-led wisdom.
I created this coaching space because I believe learning to be a better therapist shouldn't feel intimidating. It should feel encouraging, safe, and even a little inspiring. I love to teach, and I'm passionate about helping other clinicians grow with clarity and confidence.
Whether you're brand new to EMDR or simply want a supportive space to keep growing, my coaching is here for you—without pressure or judgment. Just grace, guidance, and a place to become the kind of therapist you were created to be.
Getting certified in EMDR isn’t just about checking a box—it’s about deepening your confidence, competence, and clarity as a trauma-informed therapist.
Basic training gives you a strong foundation, but let’s be honest: it’s a lot of information packed into a short amount of time. It’s normal to leave training feeling inspired and overwhelmed. Certification helps bridge that gap between learning and doing.
Through consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Certification shows that you’ve taken the time to go deeper—it reflects your commitment to excellence in trauma care. And more importantly, it gives you the tools and support to help your clients heal with greater precision and care.
