Recorded between 2015 and the first days of 2020, this album is the second episode of the Patagon series. The series is inspired by the diverse and majestic landscapes of Argentinean Patagonia, a place where I grew up and travelled several times.
The album was initially created based on samples and VSTs, then it incorporated synthesizers such as Moog Slim Phatty and Korg Minilogue, a rather destroyed guitar that was heavily sampled, manipulated and sequenced, two ocarinas and some field recordings recorded on the coast of Cerro Avanzado.
The last song (Patagon Oeste) is a composition that started basically with sounds provided by Mark Spybey (Dead Voices on Air, from England) to which I later added several sounds of my own. The result is an improvisation of about 16 minutes that I later edited and modified a bit.
