The Bunny in a Bonnet is a very low-sew amigurumi rabbit pattern. This sweet doll has a chibi body with stubby arms and legs, and wears a bonnet hood with ear holes. The no-sew body base is quick, easy, and worked in one piece. The only sewing required is for attaching the ears to the head. This pattern uses super bulky chenille velvet yarn for a soft and plush doll, and medium weight yarn in cotton (or acrylic) for its hat. It makes a lovely birthday gift or Christmas holiday gift. The PDF pattern includes in-line progress photos as part of a detailed photo tutorial to help guide you through the doll-making process.

Super bulky weight 6 yarn for doll (I used Hobbii Honey Bunny)

Medium weight 4 yarn for bonnet (I used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8)

Black & pink yarn for embroidering details

5mm crochet hook

10mm plastic safety eyes

Stuffing

Yarn needle

FO = fasten off

YO = yarn over

ch = chain

sl st = slip stitch

sc = single crochet

hdc = half double crochet

inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)

dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)

dc = double crochet

dc-inc = insert 2 dc in same st

BLO = back loops only
