This story is written in a way I am unfamiliar with. It's obscure, yet enticing. I was pulled in from the very beginning and held captive until the end. It grabbed a piece of my heart and I expect it shall linger for a very long while.

This was such an unexpected read. It was lyrical. It was melancholy. It caught me in the feels probably more so because I was having a rough day. There was friendship, falling in love, making some, what I would call, not good decisions by Janice. Bob had issues as well. And then coming back together again

This book was beautifully written. The descriptions, even the way the characters spoke to each other, were like poetry. I am not sure if this was my favorite story. I felt the main character, Janice, was quite selfish, and in my opinion, did not deserve Bob. Bob saves Janice at the beginning of the story, supports her career, and loves her enough to let her go into the arms of another man. However, in time, their paths cross again, and lead to a lovely ending where Bob and Janice find happiness.
