Stylus II Spring ‘26

Stylus is published by Dark Branch, a house conceived in Durham to contribute publications and productions towards the restoration and refinement of European aesthetics within 21st century literary, artistic, and intellectual culture. An attempt to build, to test and refine, to explore what it means to craft and shape new forms from old ideas that carry something of its heritage and tradition.

This Season’s theme is Awakening. A word  encapsulating the slow rejuvenation of the natural world, as it emerges out of the talons of thawing winter months.  It’s a time in which many of us feel reawoken too, with new determination and drive to write and create. We may have revised visions for the future, and a renewed sense of purpose fuelled by the strengthening sun rays.
