🧊 BUILD YOUR FRIDGE

Students create the refrigerator and use the food cards to decide which foods they like and which foods they don’t like.

They can choose a food and say:

🍦 I like ice cream.

🥦 I don’t like broccoli.

🥛 I like milk.

🥓 I don’t like bacon.

This turns vocabulary practice into a personalised activity where every learner can give their own answers.

The resource then moves from I like / I don’t like to question-and-answer practice:

“Do you like…?”

Students can ask each other questions and respond:

“Yes, I do.” 😊

or

“No, I don’t.” 🙅

Dedicated visual cards for these structures are included in the material.

🎲 TURN IT INTO A PAIR GAME

Student A chooses a food:

“Do you like cherries?”

Student B answers:

“Yes, I do!”

or

“No, I don’t!”

Then they switch roles.

The final activity also gives students blank “Do you like ______?” prompts so they can create their own questions.
