How to Navigate Conflict Zones Responsibly
As an Australian coming to the Middle East since 1979, I understand the cultures, the norms, vital information required for safely navigating these countries. I volunteer and live in Kurdistan. Proceeds from sales go to supporting abandoned elderly, children, disabled, illiterate, refugees who receive nothing from anyone. We provide as we are able life's necessities including medical care.
Kurdistan is an amazing and extremely beautiful place, with kind, generous and hospitable people who genuinely welcome foreigners warmly. Kurdistan is very safe, however there are traps and tips you should be aware of, myth busting, and protocols that if you practice, will save you time, money and ensure your journey is memorable with lasting memories.
This E-Book comes from both visiting Kurdistan 4 times and now volunteering and living here and is an honest, rounded commentary with practical advice that will help you considerably. A brief mention is given to Jordan and Egypt as many travelers visit these two places often as well.
