• 120 WH question cards, 3.5 x 3 inches, 6 per page, in 5 color groups of 24:

- What: things and actions (What do you drink? What do you wear on your feet? What do you sweep the floor with?)

- Where: places (Where do you sleep? Where do you borrow books? Where does a fish live?)

- Who: people and animals (Who helps you when you are sick? Who pulls Santa's sleigh? Who says "woof"?)

- When: times of day and everyday moments (When do you eat breakfast? When do you wear mittens? When do you say "thank you"?)

HOW TO USE

1. Print at 100% scale on card stock. Laminate if you like, then cut out the cards.

2. Read the question aloud and point to each picture together.

3. Your child points to the right picture, or clips a clothes peg on it.

4. Say the answer in a short sentence: "I sleep in a bed." "Because it is raining."

5. Start with What and Where, then move on to Who, When and Why.
