Requirements

- CT Commerce Lite installed and activated
- An active Twilio account
- A Twilio SMS-capable number for SMS notifications
- A Twilio WhatsApp Sandbox or approved WhatsApp sender
WhatsApp template support
WhatsApp requires approved Content Templates for business-initiated messages outside the 24-hour customer-service window. The add-on supports Twilio Content Template SIDs and JSON template variables directly from the WordPress settings page.
Important Twilio information
Twilio pricing and messaging restrictions apply. Trial accounts can send only to verified recipients and may require Twilio-provided message templates. Production WhatsApp use may require Meta approval and an approved WhatsApp Business sender.

Installation
- Upload the plugin ZIP through WordPress → Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Activate the add-on.
- Open the SMS & WhatsApp tab in the CT Commerce Lite admin panel.
- Enter your Twilio credentials and messaging details.
- Save the settings and use the test buttons to confirm delivery.
