Planet-Man Issue Four
Planet-Man: Madame Multiverse pushes the cosmic superhero saga into its most personal battle yet.
When the sky folds above the city and civilians are trapped inside floating ring-shaped universes, Planet-Man races to save them before they are carried away forever. But the attack is only a trap meant to draw his attention toward Madame Multiverse — a lonely, ethereal god who creates and controls miniature universes as easily as Planet-Man creates planets.
Madame Multiverse does not want conquest. She wants Planet-Man.
To her, mortals are a waste of divine attention, and Shrink-Scope is nothing more than a fragile distraction keeping Planet-Man from his true cosmic potential. She offers him eternity at her side, creating universes together and leaving the small lives beneath them behind.
But Planet-Man is no longer the empty god he used to be. Shrink-Scope gave him purpose, and he refuses to abandon the world he has finally chosen to protect.
When Madame Multiverse threatens the person who changed him, Planet-Man must face an enemy whose power dwarfs his own — a god of universes who believes a god of planets can never win.
Planet-Man: Madame Multiverse is a mythic superhero clash about loneliness, obsession, loyalty, and the difference between creating worlds and learning to love one.
