Build a strong foundation in German with this engaging 12-week beginner course, designed and delivered by an experienced, fully qualified secondary languages teacher.

Whether you're learning for travel, work, personal interest, or future study, this course will give you the skills and confidence to start speaking German from the very beginning.

Throughout the course, learners will develop practical communication skills, including introducing themselves, greeting others, talking about their feelings, age, birthdays, family, hobbies and interests, describing where they live, and discussing appearance. Along the way, students will learn essential vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar, enabling them to build accurate sentences and take part in everyday conversations.

The course also includes an introduction to the German-speaking world and concludes with a final assessment to celebrate learners' achievements. On completion, students will have a solid foundation in German and the opportunity to progress onto higher-level courses to further develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
