No Place for Sugar Bugs! Video
Sugar Bugs are not pretty. They are not sweet. They’re certainly not the type of bugs you’d want to keep in your creepy-crawly box! Kids come in contact with bacteria each day, but it’s not always easy to explain to them just how harmful these little germs can be. Sugar Bugs is the name given to bacteria that live inside the mouth. They’re the reason we brush and floss each day. This funny and creative children's illustrated video was produced for kids to help them better understand these bacteria.
The story is told by Bella, a little girl who knows everything about them. It’s an interactive video that allows kids to sing along to the Sugar Bug song, make various sounds, and giggle at the humorous illustrations. It can be shared by a parent or teacher with younger readers, but has been created for them to enjoy alone, too. Sugar bugs, sugar bugs, go away! My mouth is not a place to play!
