I love cables but I find that they sometimes require a bit of concentration. The ‘slice’ of cables in this hat provides just the perfect balance between enough cabling to satisfy your cable love and some soothing reverse stocking stitch.

CONSTRUCTION
Worked in aran weight yarn for a speedy knit, Slice of Honey is a unisex hat available in three sizes and two fits (beanie and slouchy). A ‘slice’ of honeycomb cabling is surrounded by reverse stocking stitch and is worked all the way up to the crown, beginning with a band of 2x2 ribbing that flows into in the cable pattern.

The pattern contains both charts and written instructions for the cable sections. Slice of Honey has been fully tech-edited and test knitted, and includes clear photographs and a schematic.

What the test knitters said:
“a rather lovely … pattern”
“a really quick and easy pattern”
“the pattern is really easy to read”
