TCL C735 (C73 series) 4K UHD TV picture settings - HDR (2022)

This product contains a document that will help you get a better HDR picture and understand picture controls on TCL C73 series LED LCD TVs. All options are available in user menus - no need to access service or any hidden menu. The calibration was performed on the 55C735 TV.
The document explains:
1. HDR picture settings that can be used for watching movies in Ultra HD 4K resolution with HDR and
2. HDR picture settings for playing games where the screen needs to be responsive
In both cases, calibration was done for HDMI limited range 4:2:2 YPrPb (component) signal, BT.2020 color space, SMPTE ST.2084 EOTF, HDR-10 and white point target D65. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ modes were also checked and recommendations are given in this document.

The calibration was done on the TV running Google TV interface (Android TV 11) with software version V8-T615T03-LF1V462.000346.
Settings also applicable to other variants and screen sizes of TCL's C73 series.
