Diva Envelope Clutch

Take the Diva Envelope Clutch to your next crafting retreat! It's a portfolio style clutch designed to carry around your important papers. (Like maybe pattern pieces?) It literally looks like an envelope when open.

The single compartment interior is roomy enough to fit standard size (letter) file folders and manila envelopes. The pieced construction method ensures that the lining will stay put and not pull out like conventional "loose" linings. For work purposes, it makes an excellent alternative to carrying around a full briefcase if you’re heading off to a meeting. The large zippered pocket on the back will accommodate odds and ends that need to be secured. When made with different fabrics, it's suitable for all ages and genders.

It's classified as a beginner project because there's really nothing too difficult about it, but I would recommend that you have previously made a simple bag or two and have experience in putting in a zippered pocket.

Supplies required:

• 1/2 yard of main fabric
• 1/2 yard of lining or accent fabric
• 3/4 yards or metres of Pellon 809 Décor Bond (or similar medium weight) fusible interfacing
• 9” or longer zipper (#5 size if you can get it)
• Tuck/push lock set
• 6 small grommets

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 10” x 13.25” (25.5cm x 34cm)
