The New Zealand Beachscapes Printable Cards Pack

A selection of six printable digital card designs in the screenprint block colour style. Images can be printed on an A4 sheet and trimmed to a standard 7" x 5" folded card.



TIPS:

Each card template is in .png lossless format.

Turn 'crop marks' on in the printer settings when setting up your printing (this way an exact trimming line can be achieved).

Use as thick a paper as possible for your cards (there is always debate about which weight by card makers, but I have found 260gsm, 280gsm, 300gsm the best thicknesses).

Set the printer to A4 paper size, portrait mode, 100% and the correct paper type.

If you don't have a suitable paper trimmer, use a steel ruler and a craft knife to trim the card.

Score the card in half by using a plastic or bone scorer and a steel ruler (some people don't bother and just fold the card in half, it's a matter of preference).

Use matte paper for an artistic finish and glossy paper for that 'pop out' effect, semi-gloss looks good too. Paper types are definitely an experiment.
