How to use

1. Install the extension.
2. Select your MP4 video.
3. Keep Adaptive selected.
4. Click Patch & Download.
5. Upload the generated _adaptive.mp4 file to TikTok Studio.

⚠️ WARNING: Keep your video under 90 MB whenever possible. Videos above 90 MB may perform worse after uploading.

The patch is designed to disrupt TikTok’s normal transcoding process, allowing the uploaded video to bypass the usual re-encoding.

When it works correctly, TikTok keeps the original encoded video and audio data, including the original resolution, FPS, bitrate and visual quality.

The method is not limited to 1080p or 60 FPS. Much higher settings may also be preserved, provided TikTok accepts and plays the file correctly.

If the method does not work, one of the following may have happened:

• TikTok may have fixed or changed its transcoder;
• the extension or Companion may not have been installed correctly;
• the video may not have been patched correctly;
• an unexpected bug may have occurred.
