Harmonics — Harmonic Exciter for Max 4 Live

Bring dull synths to life with a small, stock-style harmonic exciter.

By ELXR.

Overview

Harmonics adds new harmonics on top of your sound, from soft even warmth to buzzy odd bite. Pick the part of the sound to excite by dragging the lines on the display, and watch the added harmonics light up over your signal.

Features

Amount and range

Turn up Amount to add harmonics. Drag the two lines to choose which frequencies get excited.

Character and Tone

Character goes from smooth, even harmonics to buzzy, odd ones. Tone makes them darker or brighter.

Punch and Sustain

Put the harmonics on the attacks, or hold them up in the tails.

Up to 3 bands

Excite up to three ranges at once, each with its own settings and its own colour.

Smooth, Width and Delta

Smooth tames harshness. Width spreads the harmonics across the stereo field. Delta lets you hear only what's added.

115 presets

Built-in presets in 10 categories: synths, leads, pads, bass, vocals, drums, instruments, mix and master, and more.

Requirements

• Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live.
