You have been told that chasing a move is how beginners lose and that revenge trading is what finishes them off. Both are said with total confidence and neither ever arrives with a number, which makes them impossible to disagree with and impossible to act on precisely.

This guide turns both into numbers and measures them. Chasing becomes a threshold in average true ranges; revenge trading becomes a question about the trade after a loss. Four pre-registered tests, both legs, and every figure printed beside the same stream with the condition removed. This is a 44-page PDF that teaches FOMO & Revenge Trading from the first thing you see on the screen through to a written strategy with an entry, a stop and an explicit rule for when the trade is wrong.

Nothing is taught underneath a chart. Every label sits on the candle, the line or the level it is describing, on real BTC, ETH, SOL and LINK charts. There are three quizzes on real charts, each followed by the same chart re-shown annotated with the reasoning, plus faded practice pages where the first steps are filled in and you finish the rest.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Chasing, written as a threshold rather than a mood -- At least 1.0 average true range moved in the previous 5 bars. A definition two people can apply to the same chart and agree on.

What the chased entries actually did -- 33.92 per cent against 33.17 per cent on 5,088 hourly trades, z 0.53. On the daily leg 37.88 per cent against 39.49 per cent, z -0.56.

And what the patient entries did -- Worse. Signals arriving after a quiet five bars reached target 30.94 per cent against 34.01 per cent, z -1.42 -- the opposite of what the advice says, and still not significant.

What is genuinely left of both ideas -- The part about you, and the fees. Neither needs the market to be punishing anybody.

WHAT YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DO

Define chasing as a number you can check on a chart.

Say what a chased entry measured against its own control.

Separate the market claim in FOMO advice from the behaviour.

Explain why revenge trading is expensive without the market.

Spot advice that cannot be wrong and therefore says nothing.

AN HONEST NOTE

FOMO & Revenge Trading is a clue, not a crystal ball. It describes what price has already done. This guide contains no win-rates, no backtest results and no promises about what you will make, because nobody can verify those and you should not trust anyone who prints them. What it hands you instead is a set of rules you can test yourself on TradingView in an afternoon. Educational, not financial advice.
