Here is a simple chair yoga practice for people of all ages that combines a little bit of light qigong with yoga. This is great to do if you need a break at work.

I start off with an explanation of the difference between the two…although this explanation is overly simplified. In short, yoga centers around postures (asanas) while qigong “exercise” uses flowing movements. (Note: Kundalini Yoga sometimes uses repetitive movements instead of asanas.)

I also discuss some common beginner concerns about how to breathe properly in yoga and qigong.

P.S. Once again, apologies, I can’t seem to get my video the way I want it. This time I recorded on two phones and one had terrible audio and the one had not-so-great video. I used some video editing software to fix the bad lighting.
