Literacy: Write the Word Units 1 - 11 Full Set (Still in the making)

Following the Sounds~Write structured literacy approach, this task gets Learners / students to identify words from picture prompts and then write the sounds down.

When complete, this digital download contains:

• multiple files, grouped by Unit levels, with a space to write down the sounds (see the reference image as an example)
• each unit has a separate page with the answers

The contents of this product can be purchased as separate Units.

Sounds are introduced in the following order, using Sounds~Write’s approach:

Unit 1: “a, i, m, s, t” (this one is not provided because there are not many words available)

Unit 2: above sounds and “n, o, p” - 2 worksheet pages are included

Unit 3: above sounds and “b, c, g, h” - 3 worksheet pages are included

Unit 4: above sounds and “d, e, f, v" - 4 worksheet pages are included

Unit 5: above sounds and “k, l, r, u” - 3 worksheet pages are included

Unit 6: above sounds and “j, w, z” - 1 worksheet page is included

Unit 7: above sounds and “<x>, <y>, <ff>, <ll>, <ss>, <zz>” (new spellings for these sounds)

Unit 8: above sounds with the word structures VCC and CVCC

Unit 9: above sounds with the word structures CCVC

Unit 10: above sounds with the word structures CCVCC, CCVC

Unit 11: above sounds and spellings and <sh>, <ch>, <tch>, <th>, <ck>, <wh>, <ng>, <qu>
