**Nishtha** means ‘faith, firm belief and trust of the highest order’ in Hindi/Sanskrit. Faith becomes our anchor and helps us sail through turbulent times. The cowl is an exquisite and thoughtful piece you can craft for yourself or a person you hold dear. 

**Finished Measurements**
Front 14" [36 cm] deep, back 4.5" [11 cm] deep, 51” [130 cm] bottom circumference, 34" [86 cm] top neck circumference.

**Yarn**
Malabrigo Arroyo (100% Superwash Merino wool; 334 yards [305 meters]/100 grams): Borrajas, 1 ball.
*The sample cowl weighed 88g or 294 yards [264 m].*

**Needles** 
Sizes US 7 (4.5 mm): 32” (80 cm) circular
Or size needed to obtain gauge.

**Notions**
Removable stitch markers, tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in ends, blocking pins or wires.

**Gauge**
21 sts and 30 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking.
17 sts and 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in lace patt after wet blocking.

**Techniques**
Garter tab CO, knitting in the round, knit increases and decreases, suspended bind off, yarnovers.
