This book was written for the first days and weeks after a Down syndrome diagnosis.

It follows my journey from diagnosis through pregnancy, birth, and the first two years of life with my son, including how our family changed and the relationship between siblings. I share the fear, shock, and uncertainty — but also the clarity, strength, and unexpected joy.

This is not a medical guide.

It is not a story of tragedy.

It will not tell you how to feel.
