Altai Neanderthal Female L9105 Genome 23andme format high quality
The Altai Neanderthal was a female who lived roughly 110,000 to 120,000 years ago. Her remains were discovered at Denisova Cave in the Altai Mountains of southern Siberia, Russia.
Her whole genome sequence can be found on the European nucleotide archive, as well as Harvard’s aadr dataset. I pulled her genome from there and ran her through my Trait Predictor tool.
She was predicted to have dark brown eyes, black hair color, dark brown skin color, kinky hair texture, and a greek nose shape.
She carried a predisposition to Kawasaki disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Epilepsy, Myopia, Atrial Fibrillation, Anxiety disorder, ADHD, Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, Type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer’s.
Her blood type was decisively B, a blood group now most common in South Asians.
According to F2 analysis, she is particularly close to Denisovans, followed by various sub-saharan africans, with east eurasians, such as the koreans, australians, and mixtecs coming in last place.
According to my Andreimix utensil, which is optimized for human genetic variation, she scores over 92 percent of the Khomani component, showing a strong affinity to south african hunter gatherers and africans in general.
My andreimix mapper delivered this result. As you can see, African regions show the highest similarity to her, followed by various middle eastern regions.
The number 1 closest ethnicity to her according to my mapper were the Biaka pygmies.
You can purchase her genome from link in description, along with my tools and services.
