The Fruits of the Holy Spirit

The Fruits of the Holy Spirit are characteristics of the Holy Spirit. A characteristic is defined as a feature or quality belonging typically to a person, place, or thing and serving to identify it. This book was simply written with the intentions of helping Christians to exhibit and demonstrate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As Christians, we should live a life that is evident that the Holy Spirit resides inside of us. "So I tell you, live the way the Spirit leads you. Then you will not do the evil things your sinful self wants. The sinful self wants what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit wants what is against the sinful self. They are always fighting against each other, so that you don't do what you really want to do" (Galatians 5:16-17 ERV).
