Flowercast coasters

A simple yet elegant design to add a splash of color to your table! Gauge is not required for this project . However if you use a thicker yarn and bigger hook your finished project will be differently sized from the sample shown.

Vardhman Smiley cotton yarn is a fingering weight yarn/thread recently introduced. The yarn is very smooth to work with and comes in a wide range of colors.

We can also use Anchor knitting cotton in place of the smiley yarn.

The coaster uses simple stitches and the variegated green adds a nice touch to the pattern.

Each coaster requires approximately 10 gms of fingering weight yarn(two colors in total) and a 3mm hook. If you use a thicker yarn yardage required will be more.
