These Halloween Zen Doodle Coloring Pages are a set of 10 intricate Halloween mindfulness coloring sheets for Grades 3 to 8. Each page is an original, hand-drawn Ms Artastic design, not clip art, full of seasonal details like pumpkins, bats, spiders, haunted houses, witches, cats, ghosts and candy.

The detailed designs help students slow down, focus and express their creativity while building fine motor control. Use them for a relaxing art day, a creative break before Halloween, a mindfulness lesson, early finishers or sub plans. They work with colored pencils, markers, crayons, watercolor paint, chalk pastels or oil pastels.

WHAT TEACHERS ARE SAYING

★★★★★ “The whole school was having Halloween parties and events instead of regular language and math groups. I had the 6/7 class. They were not interested in the cutsey games the younger classes were playing. My class were difficult and too cool for school. These drawings kept them happy and occupied and helped me fill in a difficult to plan for day. Thanks!” Colleen B.

WHAT'S INCLUDED (NON-EDITABLE)

10 Halloween coloring sheets, print and go:

  • Frankenstein
  • Bride of Frankenstein
  • Werewolf
  • Jack-O-Lanterns
  • Skeletons
  • Bats
  • Ghosts with Haunted House
  • Mouse with Pumpkin
  • Zombies
  • Cat in a Spooky Night

WHAT STUDENTS LEARN

Students practice mindfulness and focus through detailed coloring, strengthen fine motor skills and pattern recognition, and explore the Elements of Art: line, shape and pattern. The pages also build patience, persistence and attention to detail, and students show their individuality through their color choices.

Print and hand out the pages. Encourage students to color each shape and section with intention rather than filling large areas with one color, and to experiment with color harmony, layering and value. The finished pages make a great Halloween bulletin board.
