Flamingo is a raglan sleeved sweater with folded neckline, hem and cuffs and a simple lace pattern on front. The sweater is worked seamlessly from top down using DK-weight yarn, either a single strand or by holding two strands of light fingering weight yarn together as done for the sample.

The work begins with the folded neckline, followed by short row shaping and raglan increases. When the yoke is completed, sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The body is then worked in the round towards the hem. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on the needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs.

The pattern includes a photo tutorial for German short row technique. The lace pattern is both charted and written.
