TORN ACHILLES - SURGERY PLANNED

This young man had to experience first-hand what can happen when playing football. His foot is in an SLC splint in an equinus position (pointed toes) because he tore his Achilles tendon a few days earlier. Today he will be admitted to the hospital for his operation.

We first see him hobbling to the entrance on crutches. That alone is a very beautiful sight. When he arrives at the medical department, he casually hangs his leg over the crutch, sits down to fill out forms, brings the forms back (of course because of the strict non-weight-bearing requirement on crutches) and sits back in the waiting area. There you can examine his foot in detail - his short pants were a good choice. He grabs his crutches and goes to radiology before taking a seat in the waiting room again.
