For this pattern, my tester Robbin Steiner used a 3.5 mm hook (US-E/4, UK-9) and the measurements with the recommended yarn (I Love This Yarn!! Solids from Hobby Lobby) were 127 cm (50”) in width and 233´7 cm (92”) in height without a border.

The amount of yarn used for this pattern by my tester without the border was: 1948 meters / 2130 yards (colour Linen of thread used by the tester) and 2597 meters / 2840 yards (colour Toasted Almond of the thread used by the tester)
