Countdown to Christmas with these fun advent socks! For 24 days knit a small section of your sock every day and have a finished pair of socks to wear on Christmas Eve! The socks are knit top down with a heel flap and gusset construction. The patterning is the same on both socks, but because different minis are used every day, you will end up with two fraternal socks. Optionally the socks can be knit in one colour for a monochrome look! The socks can be knit in three different circumference sizes and the foot length can be adjusted to taste.
Sizing
The pattern is available in 3 sizes: small (with a cast on of 56 stitches), medium (with a cast on of 64 stitches) and large (with a cast on of 72 stitches.
Gauge
The gauge is 9 stitches per inch and 11 rows per inch on 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles in stockinette.
Materials
Advent Calendar with 24x10g fingering weight yarn miniskeins or various bits of leftover fingering weight.
2.5 mm (US 1.5) double pointed or circular needles.
Cable needle.
The pattern is written. When you purchase this pattern, you will receive 2 different versions of the pattern. "Advent socks parts" contains the pattern split into the daily knitting prompts. The "Advent Socks" pattern contains the pattern for the Advent socks in my regular format.
