Spring Activities Spring Art Activities Spring Art Lessons Art Sub Plans
This Spring ARTivity Book is a low-prep, 39-page art workbook for elementary students (K to 5) that teaches the Elements of Art and Principles of Design through spring-themed activities. It works for classroom teachers, art teachers, homeschool families and substitutes, and it does not need fancy materials.
Students work through directed drawing, roll and draw games, symmetry and mandalas, grid drawing, complementary colors, value studies, space, texture, movement, repetition, emphasis and creative drawing prompts. It is a structured workbook rather than a coloring book, with lessons, a rubric, reflection pages and standards alignment that build real skills over time.

HOW TO USE IT
Print the full booklet for a 4 to 6 week spring art unit, assign a weekly Elements of Art focus, or print single pages for targeted lessons, art centers, sub plans or early finishers. Students can use whatever medium you have: crayons, colored pencils, markers, watercolor, tempera paint, oil pastels or soft pastels. The resource includes suggested National Art Standards for creating, experimenting, craftsmanship, reflection and artistic process (see the preview for the full list).

ALL TEACHER REVIEWS (6)
★★★★ “This is a great resource, it is something I would use again and again!” Ashley P.
★★★★ “Great low prep art resource.” Sparkles a.
★★★★ “Perfect Spring activity.” Heather S.
“This is very similar to the other activity books. This has the same activity except for different pictures. I think these are good for little kids, but the graphics with the big eyes didn't interest my older kids. I think it works if you are looking for an earlier finisher idea or a sub idea.” Rebecca A.
★★★★ “Great resource, thank you!” teacher T.
★★★ “I used this resource as an early finisher activity for the students who finished their art project early. I printed a few pages and made a packet for the kids to work on through out spring. I like how it talks about the different elements of art and design so they are also learning besides being kept busy.” Julianne S.
