Surry’s Last Stand

A wonderful children’s book about a Hippo who attacked a tribe of Mountain Lions. Surry attacked a Mountain Lion after it killed a Hyena. When Surry returned home he was thinking about his battle with the Mountain Lions, and how he was wounded in dozens of places; but he was still alive. Some Mountain Lions were badly injured on their hind leg, others had badly torn throats; and some had lost their eyes.
