Two simple guided exercises to help reduce stress and anxiety during divorce
Two simple guided exercises to help reduce stress and anxiety during divorce
As a divorce coach and someone who has gone through a divorce I know, just like you, how staying calm and focused is important to reducing conflict.
Now I work as a burnout and resilience coach focusing on controlling stress and anxiety: two things hard to avoid during separation and divorce.
These exercises can reduce anxiety in as little as 60 seconds, so they can be used before a stressful meeting or phone call.
Practised daily, they will help build your resilience so you stay calm under pressure.
The exercises use Oxygen Advantage evidence-based techniques and research by Stanford Medicine. Use for two short sessions a day or any time you feel anxious. No experience needed. No equipment needed. Just you and five to ten minutes, twice a day, for reduced anxiety and a nervous system that starts to build resilience.
The course includes two exercises.
Bonus materials include an explanation of how breathing and anxiety are connected as well as a simple breathing test (the BOLT test).
